New Visa information for residents in AB, BC, NT, SK and YT
Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver represents Hungary for the issuance of visas for short stays in the Schengen area (visa types A and C).
As of February 24, 2014, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver represents Hungary for the issuance of visas for short stays in the Schengen area (visa types A and C) if the applicant is legally residing in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon or the Northwest Territories.
Applications for short stay visas originating from other provinces and/or territories of Canada as well as applications for long-term visas (type D) will continue to be processed by the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa.
